feed game points position push sure teammates
They got me tired, but I had to push through it. There are points in the game where my teammates feed off me. I have to make sure I get back on defense, and just get in position where I can make plays.
coach drill game good great job knows matter people practice reasons team
He does a great job of getting people to play their best. One of the reasons we are such a good team is that every day in practice is like a game to us. Everything we do is competitive, and everything we do we want to win, no matter what the drill is. He knows you have to coach everyone differently.
biggest continue felt free game practice since team throws weakness
I felt confident. Ever since the Marquette game, every day I've been working on my free throws before and after practice with the coaches. Apparently, I just need to continue working on it. It's probably the biggest weakness in my game right now. I let my team down.
anxious bad coaches early eight fact goes man played playing teams
The coaches just told me to be patient. I get real anxious when I see teams are playing me man-to-man. Early on, I had a lot of bad turnovers. I think that goes to the fact that we hadn't played in eight days.
defensive people presenting seems setting step strategies teams
Other teams are keying in on him, setting whole defensive strategies around him. That's presenting opportunities for other people to step up. It's amazing. It seems like every game, it's someone different.
achievement biggest coaches compliment gave great reason support teammates
It's a great achievement. It's a great compliment to my team. I couldn't have done it without them. The support the coaches and my teammates gave me is probably the biggest reason this happened.
boys few great guys job knew offensive open sending split teammates three
They've got some big boys that are very good. They were sending two or three guys at me, which was getting frustrating, so I knew I had to get offensive rebounds. The few times I was open for a split second, my teammates did a great job of getting me the ball.
break chance forward gives looking spring teams year
It gives us a chance to play teams from around the country. I'm really looking forward to it. It's the first year we've done it, and usually during Spring Break we flatten off because we won't play.
both definitely ends hard help player shows team ways willing work
I think the double-double definitely shows how hard a player is willing to work on both ends of the floor. But there are a lot of other ways you can help your team that don't show up in the stats.
stay whether
I just want everyone to know I'm going to make the right decision. Whether it's for me to stay or go, I'm going to make the right decision.
glad offense offensive struggles
A lot of times my offense is so bad, I'm just glad even with my offensive struggles that I've been able to get offensive rebounds.
deadline june outside stay sure whether
I want to make sure that when the June 18 deadline comes, it will be my decision, not someone else's or any outside reason, whether I stay or go.
degree draft experience graduating great help learning priority process provide
The draft process will provide me a great learning experience and will help me become a better player. Academically, I am well on my way to graduating and earning a degree and that is a priority for me.
college guy stuck
He let me know we're stuck with him. It's great, because he's a guy who's been here for everyone's college career, and we've had a lot of success.
