good graduated great level looking model paints player profile seven university
He's a great model for the university in general. To have a player of this level and this accomplishment, who's also graduated in seven semesters, paints a pretty good profile of what we're looking for.
athletic career dynamic forward guy looking runner successful team
He had a very dynamic career at Mt. Tabor as a run/pass guy and the team was very successful down there. He's been a runner -- very athletic and a guy that we're really looking forward to having.
elsewhere far football looking minds players positive programs state understand
Sometimes it's a little challenging to understand what was on the minds of some of the players. Between the two state schools, there's been a lot of positive things going on with the football programs here. I have to wonder, why players would have to look so far elsewhere to find what they're looking for?
expect game good hesitate learn looking period played player short time year
I really hesitate to say it because he hasn't played a game yet, but he's really looking like what we're looking for there. For what he's had to learn and do in a short period of time here, he's been impressive. I would expect that he's going to be a good player this year and increasingly better in the future.
ball five looking past seen tight
If you've seen us play over the past five years, you know that we're pretty tight end-oriented, so we're always looking for opportunities to get the ball there.
ball catch five great job looking obviously past tight watched
If you watched us over the past five years, you know we're pretty tight end-oriented, so we're always looking for opportunities to get the ball to them. Obviously we had an idea we could catch some, and Marcus did a great job of getting the ball to them in those spots.
forward looking sure time
It's better. I'm sure he's looking forward to a time when it's a lot better than what it is now.
advantage behind certainly experience playing team
I think it's to the quarterback's advantage to be playing with experience behind him, and then if it's to the quarterback's advantage, it is certainly going to make it to the advantage of the team to have an experienced quarterback.
issue knowing opposed ride riding stomach
I think there's a little issue of you have to get the butterflies in your stomach when you ride in on the bus, as opposed to riding in knowing you're going to be a spectator.
career point tremendous trying
Just a tremendous punctuation point to the career he had at Virginia. He's been a tremendous figurehead for what we're trying to get out of everybody.
aggressive anybody care football last staying together trying week winning
Last week, we didn't really care what anybody said about us, ... We don't really care this week. We know what we have to do this week to keep it going. What we care about is winning and losing, and staying together as a team, and trying to play the kind of sound, solid, tough, aggressive football that we like to think is our trademark.
halftime last reminded ride
I reminded him of what we said at halftime last week: 'We're going to ride you. Let's go.'
intent invest start
Our intent from the start was really to invest heavily in this position.
blessed encourage god talent wished
We encourage him to do that. God has blessed him with a talent that all those 6-5 quarterbacks wished they had.
