He was a guy everybody looked up to as far as his leadership and what he brought to the field every day. He's a guy who was there for everybody and who cared about what everybody did or was doing. He kind of looked out for everybody.

Losing is no fun. And we've lost here for a while. We've had some opportunities in the past where the first two or three months of the season we were on top of the division. We could have used another arm or two, and we hadn't done it. It's nice to know that now that same situation would be different.

The worst I've ever seen here. Up high, it was blowing out. But down low, it was blowing in hard.

He's a good dude. There were times we'd look over and tell him that anything he could get to take it, because we were still a work in progress.

It's important anywhere. The winning organizations, that's what they have. They have a plan and stick with it. Everybody knows what's going on and knows what to expect. That's what we're striving to get to, I guess.
