blame football trade trying win
I don't blame him. I wouldn't trade either. ... He's just trying to win a football game.
bigger stronger wear
I think we were bigger and stronger in some areas, and we were able to wear them down.
team
We got embarrassed down there. They embarrassed us. And I was embarrassed myself for our team and our performance. It was tough.
defensive depth tackle
We've got some depth at defensive tackle and defensive end. But we need a little more depth at linebacker.

We've had enough hitting. The kids are tired of hitting each other.
came chance later liked quite regroup second worked
I think they're good, quite honestly. I'd liked to have it a little later in the season, but as it worked out, we came away with a 3-0 and a chance to kind of regroup and it's like a second season.

ball best church field help job kids score talking team trying whoever win
Kids don't care. Whoever can take them down the field and score and help them win ball games, that's who they will follow. In talking to one of our players, they said, 'Coach, this ain't no church league.' We're trying to win ball games, and whoever can get the job done and do the best job is who this team will follow.

Will's feeling better and we may take Will along for moral support. He might be able to play, depending on how it progresses, against USC (next week), but more than likely it will be the last three games.
almost good overtime pressure quite
That was good, and what was really good was to see him make one under pressure in overtime when we had to have it done. That's almost like a game-winning situation, but that's quite a lot of pressure for a kid.
concerns either matter ready stay telling
That's the thing that concerns me more than anything is are we going to be ready to play? I keep telling (the players) you don't stay the same. It's the old saying, 'You either get better or you get worse.' And we have to try and get better no matter who you are playing.
help win
It does help if we win a little bit, doesn't it?
great potential
We always thought he had great potential. He's just going to keep getting better and better.
