best defensive equation factor good guys last majority night offense playing second team
The other thing our offense wasn't very good last night at all. If the offense isn't very good, I think you are better off playing your best defensive team the majority of time. That also could factor into the equation why those guys didn't get in the second half.
best four games good home played road worst
We've actually played better away from home. Our four road games are the best games we've played all year. Our fourth-best home game hasn't been as good as our worst road game.

They made us sweat. It's a good thing we still had a foul to give.
gratifying league since start worst
For us to have the worst league start since (1983) and then go 13-3 is probably more gratifying than if we had started out 10-0.
cleaned everybody good great
They great thing about it is that when they missed, we cleaned up. I thought everybody did some good things.

The big thing is, we have to figure out as a team and staff a lot of things: a.) who to play, and b.) how we're going to play in different situations.

He's a good on-the-ball defender, loose-ball guy and forces help offensively. Now that he's not worried about making shots, he's shooting better. He's playing really well.

He called. I called him right back. We spoke for 30 minutes. I think it was a matter-of-fact, cordial conversation.

I think that right there would be something to put Billy's crew in. They may still be on the bubble, but to my eyes (a win) would be the thing to put them over it.

I was disappointed in how we played not how we lost because Arizona's a great team. I thought we might be nervous and then Arizona's pressure set the tone early. Then we dug ourselves another hole we couldn't climb out of.

Sweeping Kansas would be a great feather in K-State's cap. And winning over there, with the teams more evenly matched than in many years, would be a feather in our cap.

The game should have been cracked open earlier than it was. But we have a way of making things interesting.

He'll wear a splint when he's not practicing. (On the court) he'll tape it up and be fine.
