gives great victory
That was a great victory by (A&M). It gives us a chance.
columbia forget great guy hurt offensive people played points post six
That was big because people forget that Young was the guy who really hurt us in Columbia with 14 points and six offensive rebounds. I thought that (Kaun) played great post defense, and C.J., too.
atmosphere good gotten great lead second
It was a good atmosphere. It could have been a great atmosphere if A&M had gotten the lead in the second half. Fortunately, they were not able to make that happen.
attacked ball ended fault felt great hard head plenty taking time worked
I felt we should have attacked the basket. It worked out perfect. We got the ball to Keith. He had plenty of time and a head of steam. We ended up taking a hard shot. It would have been great had it went in. It was on line. I won't fault him on a last-second shot. He's made plenty of them.
cleaned everybody good great
They great thing about it is that when they missed, we cleaned up. I thought everybody did some good things.
climb dug great hole lost might nervous ourselves played pressure tone
I was disappointed in how we played not how we lost because Arizona's a great team. I thought we might be nervous and then Arizona's pressure set the tone early. Then we dug ourselves another hole we couldn't climb out of.
feather great kansas matched sweeping teams winning
Sweeping Kansas would be a great feather in K-State's cap. And winning over there, with the teams more evenly matched than in many years, would be a feather in our cap.
based best four great half jim job kansas last league perspective potential rick state team teams watched
From a coach's perspective, if I watched Jim Wooldridge's team or Rick Barnes' team, it makes a difference. Your job is based on how you do with the potential that you have. That's why I think Jim is a great coach. I think Kansas State is one of the best four teams in our league in the last half of the Big 12 season.
beat believe conference confidence good great hard help magnitude national performance saturday winning
A good performance on Saturday would be a great springboard for our kids' confidence going into conference play. You can get confidence from winning games, but you still have to go out and beat someone of national magnitude to really believe that it's going to help you win a hard game.
figure game great hopefully seasons start win
It was huge, because we didn't play well at all. That's what makes great seasons ? when you figure out how to win a game when you don't play real well. Hopefully that's a start for us.
adds atmosphere chances expected good great kansas matter pumped spice teams town
I expected it to be tough, and this would have been a great atmosphere no matter what. Usually, when Kansas comes to town it adds spice to the game. When we don't play well on the road, our chances aren't good because usually teams are pumped to play us.

Anybody can have a bad half. He came out and was great the second half. It all went through Aaron.
