Robert W. Hill is an American basketball coach. Hill grew up in Mount Sterling, Ohio moving to Worthington, Ohio for high school. Upon graduating from high School, Hill entered Bowling Green State University. During the summer of 2011, he was invited by Nike to help Taiwan men's basketball team as a consultant. I told them that when they signed that contract they were agreeing that they would cooperate with whatever we wanted to do. I expect them to play hard. I'm not going to coach effort, but I want them to play hard and play good.

I didn't want to have to double (team) Ely. Maybe we just didn't think he would do that. The lack of concentration and defensive aggressiveness is hard to understand. I tried everything I could think of. It just wasn't there. We just dug too deep a hole.

I'd like to sign him to another 10-day. That's really going to give us a chance to see him. Anybody who signs a 10-day contract, especially with a younger team, it's hard to get them into the game. But we will work him out (Friday) and I'll get a chance to get a look at him.

Our guys wanted to win the game because of the butt kicking we took in Houston. It wasn't a 'get back.' Neither team is going to the playoffs. It's just two teams playing hard but not playing for anything.

Their depth just wore us down. We were tired in the fourth quarter. I don't think we could have done much more than we did. I thought the effort was great, and guys played as hard as they could.
