building care chance hard job mistakes
Now, it's more building their confidence. That's where we're at, ... We have to just do our job, do it as hard as we can do it and just play smarter. If we do that alone, we've got a chance to improve. Just not making mistakes and take care of the ball.
committed game good job run stopping
They have always really committed to the run game and stopping the run. They do a good job of it.
coaches job
In the end, they're here to go to school, and it should be our job as administrators or as coaches that if they're not, we can't put you on the field.
critique front job sit
I'm not going to sit here and critique our quarterbacks in front of everybody. We weren't very productive, we need to do a better job and that's what were going to try to do.
ball breaking field point thinking
I thought the play was really a breaking point for us. I am not at all questioning the call, but we thought we had it, then we didn't, then they went down and got a field goal. Thinking we had the ball at the 30, and then not, that was a big swing.
assignment ball boundary busting covering deep entire gave good outside played positions route secondary solid somebody tackled wheel
I thought the secondary played solid and good the entire day. The one deep wheel route we gave up on our boundary was somebody else outside of the secondary busting an assignment and not covering their guy. They tackled well for the most part, their positions on the ball and challenging in many coverage, I thought, were really pretty good.
I think we're still better than the way we played.
built challenged difficult last year
I think back to last year and, I don't want to say it was easy, but we made it look easy. We weren't challenged in difficult situations. This year, we have been, and it's built our character.
attempting certain continue execute game mean parts passing past smart sure worked
Just because what we've done in the past has worked and worked well doesn't mean that it will continue to. We have really got to be smart in what we're attempting to do. We need to make some adjustments and make sure we can execute certain parts of our passing game more consistently.
best career incredible jason knows
Jason knows what's best for him. If that's what he has to do, he's had an incredible career here.
came felt game reports rest saw walk
I saw him walk in and he said he felt pretty decent. I don't know where reports of a high-ankle sprain came from. I don't think he would have been able to play like he did the rest of the game if he had a high-ankle sprain.
challenges columbia defense definitely fans four freshman handful league missouri next night people player presents program proud remember respect saw speed thinking turned
I remember the night we saw him in Columbia as a freshman and thinking to myself that he was going to be a handful for the league over the next four years. That definitely turned out to be the case. He just presents so many challenges to a defense with his size, his speed and his feel of the game. He is also a player who had the respect of people around the Big 12 for the way he conducted himself. He is a person that the Missouri program and fans can be proud of in a lot of ways.
imagination move offensive staff
Our imagination as a staff, and Chuck's imagination with the offensive staff is to move the football,
great matched opportunity ready shooting
We have a great opportunity to go down and win. That is what we are always shooting for and we will be ready to go after it. ... We feel like we are making great strides, too, and traditionally we have matched up with them.
