No status right now. It's not something I said I'd even consider until after the (TCU) game. It's after the game and I haven't seen him. It's easy to jump on one guy when something goes wrong. Hey, that's fine. We deserve the criticism, but track records over time also stand for something.

It's just unfortunate. People didn't know it, but he had that stress fracture for about six weeks. (We were) taping it, limiting practices here and there trying to get him through it, and then it just blew up on him.

I probably shouldn't have said (Monday), but everyone finds out anyway. .... In fairness to him, it probably doesn't need to be me coming out and saying that. In the end, that's the situation, and it's better than all the rumors being around about it.

I think you're always looking for guys, especially in the offensive line, that are just tough, hard-working, fighting guys. That's what you look for. It's not always the easiest thing to find.
