This is the season that you really want to focus and concentrate on. We went through all those differences and all those trials and tribulations to get to this point. Sometimes you have to go through some afflictions before you have success and this is what the outcome is.

Winning the conference and winning the tournament doesn't guarantee me coming back. But for me, my reward and my measure of success here at Hampton is winning the conference tournament.

When I saw five of our guys slap the floor, it reminded me of Duke and I knew we were going to go away with the win. I don't teach that; they did that on their own. Our defensive intensity played a big role in our winning.
