gets happen success watching
It couldn't happen to a better guy. Watching him have the success he's had has been awesome, because when someone gets after it the way he does, you want to see it rewarded.
bunch definitely far fault guys joe list near runs score top
Joe should definitely be near the top of the list as far as guys being considered. It's not his fault we don't score a bunch of runs for him. He could have 15 wins.
asked helped last love tough year
I would love to have Macha come back. Macha has helped me through some tough times last year and this year. I don't know if it's in the cards, but if they asked my opinion, I would love to have Macha back.
fires great overly people team thinking
It fires me up. It should fire everyone up. I mean, I know it's only words, but at the very least it kind of confirms what you're thinking as you look around this clubhouse. We are a great team -- or at least we should be. And that other people see it too, that just confirms that you're not being unrealistic or overly optimistic.
babe feels front hitting
It feels like I'm hitting in front of Babe Ruth. It's impressive.
hope knew
We knew we pretty much had to sweep, but we're still in it. We still have a shot. We have to hope for the best.
best gets playing time today tomorrow
Today was the best I felt. The only time I really feel it is in-between innings. Once it gets warmed up I'm fine. I don't know if I'm playing tomorrow but if I do play, I'll play shortstop.
extended period
I don't think it's anything that will keep me out for an extended period of time. Hopefully, it's just (today) and that's it.
playing sure
If this weren't the end of the year, I'm sure I wouldn't be playing right now.
constantly game hate rather stay walking watching
I hate watching baseball, ... I hate it. It's just not any fun. I'd rather be out there playing. I'm constantly walking up (to the clubhouse) or going somewhere. When I'm not playing, I don't feel like I'm part of the team. I try to stay in the game and try to yell, but it's just hard.
goes runs score time
If we can score some runs, the way Joe's been pitching, we know it's going to be good. I don't know what it is, we try to get runs for the guy. Hopefully, as time goes on, he'll get more and more, and he'll keep doing what he's doing.
boost couple edge extra hope
This team's doing well right now, and I just hope I can give any kind of boost that's going to put us over the edge or get that extra couple of games.
hopefully pitching pop team
This team is always about pitching and defense, and that's still going to be a big thing for us. Now, with some pop in the lineup, hopefully we can get some more runs.
guys hurt job people shut somebody step
With Richie going out, a lot of people thought it would hurt us. But we have a lot of guys who can shut them down. It was impressive. We know if we have a guy hit, we have somebody else who can step up and get the job done.
