aware changes contract couple depth good guys last next ourselves playing trying work
Mentally, the last couple of games, we were all aware of the situation. I don't think it changes a thing. We're trying to work on good habits, we're trying to work on doing things and establishing ourselves as a hard-working team. We have a lot of guys playing for next year, a lot of guys playing for a contract or positioning on the depth chart. We have a lot of guys with a lot to play for. So I don't know if it changes anything for us.

I think everybody should take a trip up that elevator once in their life.

I think it comes down to desperation. I really don't understand some of the efforts we're getting from some of the guys when we're supposed to be trying to make a push to get into the playoffs. It's astonishing.

We have to, as players and as coaches, do a better job of preparing guys to play. We were not ready physically or mentally. We didn't seem to win many puck battles tonight.
couple great lately line lost momentum regain turned
What they've done for us lately is when we've had a couple of shifts where we haven't done things well and lost momentum, they've been a great line to regain that momentum or at least get it turned around. You know what you're going to get for the most part every shift.
