The first four minutes of the game and the first four after the half are huge. It's just big for anybody.

It's a huge thing for us. When he's on, it really gives us a confidence shot. Everybody on our team knows their job is going to be easier because he's hitting shots.

He's a real team player. He could score like that every night if we wanted him to. But he's not like that. He'll take the shots if they're there, but he's not going to force things just to get shots up.

I tell our guys that we're not out here trying to prevent shots, but we want to contest shots.

We just have some mentally tough kids and that's what it took to hold (Northridge) off.
earn experience
With my experience at Hillcrest, we don't take anything for granted. We know we have to earn what we get.
experience good guys
We're doing a lot of this with guys that are new to varsity experience. So from an experience standpoint, I feel pretty good about where we're at.
