It was a convincing win for Nelson. Irwin and Scherer pretty much dominated. All three have a good shot at making the finals if they wrestle well.

This is great for Matt and his family. They've been working for this since he was little. All the hours of work, driving to camps and meets, this is what it's all about.

It's kinda like our conference, we need to score in every weight class and the kids need to be in the top four.

We just didn't wrestle quite as well in the championship match. But we're walking out state runner-up. I'm proud of this team. It's been a great year. At the beginning of the year I wasn't sure how we were going to be. These kids stepped up and we wrestled in the championship match.
