You're last game is always tough because it's tough on the seniors. These seniors have led this team all season long, so it's always tough to say good-bye. That's a special group.

Adam's a terrific kid. He just competes. He has a huge heart.

They played well. (Corbin) Donaldson was tough. We kept getting it down to 2 and 4 and we couldn't get over the hump.

The kids should be pretty proud of that, it's a nice accomplishment. The thing they've done all year is take it one game at a time and try to get better every day. Hopefully, we can continue to do that.

I feel like we did a good job of forcing turnovers and getting easy baskets.

I was real disappointed with our energy. Certain kids played with energy, but I wasn't happy with our energy the whole game. A win's a win, but we need to learn how to play with energy all the time.

They played well. They took us out of what we wanted to do. They packed it in and didn't let us get our inside game going and they battled us on the boards.

Ryan Popa and Adam Root stepped up in the second half. They showed leadership in the locker room and with their actions on the court. They did just refuse to lose.

Everything's worked out. Bay City is a great place. I love (athletic director Morley) Fraser. I like the school and I like the kids. It just wasn't the right time.
