I hope Friday and Saturday night we get tons of UH students there. Hopefully these two promotions will get a lot of students in the games and it gets rowdy.

Obviously, it hurts a lot. He's battling to get past that. It's going to be tough the first couple of practices to get used to having a hurt finger. He's not going to give up. He's always playing hard. Whether that thing is falling off, he'll still play, even if he has to tape it on.

He's feeling better. I expect him to be ready.

I was just trying to move the ball around as usual and keep them guessing. I saw that opening down the middle and decided to exploit it until they stopped it.

We got caught in a few mental errors. We were a little anxious after a long, restful weekend. We can improve on that, as well as working harder on our serves.

We had no film (of the Ramblers) and no scouting report. We're fortunate to squeak out one.

We definitely didn't make a very good emotional investment. We didn't put ourselves on the line like we usually do. We thought we could walk through this one, and obviously we couldn't.

There are so many different scenarios that could play out that we can't be thinking about that. We have to focus on Friday and then on Saturday.

ball control five guys hitting tough worry
We were controlling the ball really well. That enabled me to get so many opportunities to my hitters. When we have ball control like that, I can go anywhere, and it makes it tough for the opposing team. They have to worry about five guys hitting at all times.
