It was the third or fourth play of the game. We ran a zone play up the middle. I broke outside and somebody caught me at about the 9 yard line. Florida State's defense is fast - they can all run.

We wanted to have coach Alvarez end on a good note. Nobody gave us a chance. We deserved to be here and we won.

I think I'm ready to run, ready to work out. You have nothing to hide. This is my chance to showcase what I can do. This is probably the difference between going in the second round and possibly going late first. Everybody's on an even (playing field); if I can throw out some good workouts, who knows? They are a good team, but we couldn't make the big plays. We lost focus and we couldn't produce.

Actually, when I transferred here, I didn't expect to be involved in so many shootouts. Obviously, Wisconsin's not really known for scoring 40 points per game. But some games have required us to score as many points as possible, so that's what we've tried to do.

With the stadium and the facilities we have now, we can recruit all over the country. There are schools like Miami and Oklahoma who are always going to recruit better than we are just because they are Miami and Oklahoma. But with our stadium and facilities, we should be able to recruit anybody.
