bats best gave glad hits needed outing swing timely today
I thought we pitched well today and Blevins gave us his best outing of the year. We didn't swing the bats particularly well, but we got timely hits when we needed them. Of course, we are glad to win another series.
fantastic focused gave great hard hitters jack job kept mound performance plate played pleased
I thought Glen (Simon) did another fantastic job on the mound and really kept us in the game. Jack (Nelson) also gave us a really great performance at the plate. I was pleased that our hitters kept focused at the plate and I thought we played really hard right from the start.
clutch falls game jack kept key offense pitching simon until win
I think the key to today's win really falls to Glen Simon . He kept us in the game until we could get our offense going. The two things that were really key for us were Glen pitching as well as he did and Jack getting that clutch hit.
bats came defense good hard job plate played pleased runs score swing though waiting
I thought we did a pretty good job after waiting around all day to play. We came out and played hard and even though we didn't swing the bats as well as I would have liked, I was pleased with our effort. Once again, we pitched well and played good defense and battled at the plate to score runs to win the game.
