It's been a process for our team because it's a young team. We were sort of forced into that. We lost a very good ball player when we lost Megan Frazee. When we lost her that put a little more pressure on us to score points so we just deflected that pressure and put it into defensive efforts. The kids really bought into that and took some sense of pride in that.

I think a lot of the smaller schools need as many days out into tournament play like the Boo Williams or the Deep South because we cannot afford to fly to just see one game in Iowa and fly back like some of the larger schools can. I wish it was a different weekend and that we had more days out as well.

I really wasn't worried about them getting out to the start they did. Obviously, we didn't get into our offense and we really struggled all night.

I enjoyed about 25 minutes of that game. For that time we matched the intensity of the Florida Lady Gators. But at that time their energy stepped up - probably because of the mistakes we made - and they were consistent.
