Krista had a beautiful routine. She always swings the bars so nicely. She was very clean. The judges could not deduct points from her for bad form.

We really only have three seniors with floor routines. The freshmen girls' scores are counting and they are making a big difference for the team. The freshmen are probably the future of the team. This senior class is classy and great role models. I think they are learning a lot about hard work and teamwork.

It bodes well for us. We basically had our sectional meet in a practice run and we get to do it all over again.

We just have to take it one day at a time. Maybe we will put in the beam for the sectional. We pretty much have ruled out the floor.

We would like to score above a 115. That is our goal. We know it is a little tougher to score at an invitational than it is at a dual meet.

The three seniors that were injured were back and ready to go. We talked about the fact that we were so glad the injuries have subsided. Now is their chance to improve upon those scores. They are on the route back.

That's a fun meet to go to because we really get to see some great gymnastics teams. We will get to see some teams that are in contention for the Division 1 and Division 2 state titles.

It's all about the chance to compete. Everyone went home with a ribbon. There is a feeling of accomplishment with that. Everyone counts. They all had to work hard together.

It's not often you find freshmen on the varsity. Floor is an area as a team where we are not as strong.

It's fantastic that they can step in and perform. It's a big boost for their skills and confidence. This is an experience you can't replace or simulate in any other way.

It's always good for us to have another bars competition under our belts. The more experience and confidence they have, the more at ease they will feel.
