team winning goal
My goal is to win. It doesn't matter how I do. I want to do well, but I just want the team to win.
ball felt goal good matter team
I felt good at the plate, I was able to put the ball in play, ... My goal is to win. It doesn't matter how I do. I want to do well, but I just want the team to win.
confidence confident developed start team
Just being able to start the way we started this year, it developed confidence. We're confident about the team and the lineup and the bullpen.
depending good great runs score
We can score a lot of runs and we know that. It's a great lineup and the good thing about it is we're not depending on one or two guys. We're depending on everyone.
feels shoulder
My shoulder feels sore, but I'll be fine.
heal helping hurting injury instead last learn wrong
That was something that I probably did wrong last year. I should have let the injury heal completely 100 percent. I just wanted to be there, and instead of helping the team, I was hurting the team. You learn from that.
confidence days difference fans feels gives good hear players support
It feels great. I can live with that. I know sometimes I'm not going to have good days and I'm going to hear some boos. But the fans really make the difference in us as players because when you have the support from the fans, it feels great. It gives you confidence to go out there and give your best.
continue feels full improving outfield percent playing run since
It feels 60 percent and it?s not enough for me to go out there and play. I can run but not full speed, and playing in the outfield is no good. I feel like I?m getting better since the day it happened, it?s improving and I just want to continue to improve.
good
We know we are a good team, and we feel good about our start.
affected ball city experience good hit hole hurt knowing learning steal time took year
When I got hurt this year I feel that really affected me, took a lot away from me. I wasn't able to steal bases. Every time I hit the ball in the hole I wasn't able to run. I just couldn't run. It's kind of frustrating because you feel like you would have done a better job. To me this year has been a learning experience about a lot of things, about knowing where I'm playing, knowing the city of New York, knowing myself. I feel good with it.
baseball numbers league
Major League Baseball should retire Roberto Clemente's number, just like they did Jackie Robinson's.
crazy player half
It's going to be crazy. I'm guessing when we play against the Dominicans, half the field will be Dominican fans and half will be Puerto Rican fans. With all the big-time players in the World Classic, it's going to be huge.
games play trade-me
I play because I know I can play the game, so it's their decision whether or not they want to keep me or they wanna trade me. Whatever decision they make, I will understand it.
expectations i-can do-the-best
I know there are a lot of expectations of me, and I will do the best I can.
