fed losing
We're fed up with this losing already. It's not something we're going to get used to.
billy bleeding came eight free great left picked played quick seconds stopped wiped
I think that was real big. I was bleeding and they wiped me up real quick and stopped the bleeding for about eight seconds and I was able to get my free throws. I went back (for stitches) and Billy just came in and played great basketball. He picked it up where I left off.
demands either gets great job passing people reading situation
He is the most effective, not when he's scoring, but when he gets other people involved. He demands a double-team every night. He did a great job of reading the situation and either going to the rim or passing it off. He's a superstar.
adversity character coach early face good great guys job people prepared revealed rotation stepped team
I think the character of this team has already been revealed in the face of adversity. Early on, when a lot of people were writing us off, I think we bounced back. Coach did a great job of getting the right guys out there, the rotation was good and we stepped up. Now this is another challenge. We've got to step up. It's a must that we go .500 or better, and I think we are prepared to do that.
closes fourth game stars
In the fourth quarter, he does what he does best, he closes the game out. That's what stars do.
carve dig happy someplace
I'm just happy to be someplace where I'm wanted, where I can dig in and carve out a place for myself,
adversity beautiful chemistry coming early seeing starting starts winning
I just think that chemistry is always big, and once chemistry starts coming together, it's a beautiful thing. Now you're seeing it. We went through a lot of adversity after winning early on, and now we're starting to roll.
finding good job rhythm stay teammates trying
I think it's just that my teammates are getting used to me and I'm getting used to them. Offensively, I'm just trying to stay in a good rhythm and a good flow. My teammates are doing a good job finding me in a rhythm, and I'm just doing what I know how to do.
glass guys hard hitting hope shots
He's been the sparkplug, hitting big shots when we need them. Like I told him, I hope that he makes the All-Star team. That would be big for him and for this organization. But if not, he's an All-Star in our minds. He's hitting the glass hard and making other guys better.
however
We will take them however we can get them.
adversity bail came chemistry coming either slowly successful team together
When you go through adversity, either you are going to bail out or you come together. This team came together and got closer. I think that's why we're being so successful right now because we're so tight. I just think the chemistry is coming together slowly but surely. It is coming together more and more.
assistant bringing butler community event people played together
What an event like this in any community accomplishes is bringing people together for goodness,'' said Leito, who was an assistant at Connecticut when Butler played there.
bit coming couple halftime karl last locker longer retirement weaknesses
We didn't want to come out flat. That was one of our weaknesses over the last couple of weeks, coming out after halftime flat. With the Karl Malone retirement and everything, we were in (the locker room) a little bit longer than usual. (We had to) come out and get some buckets quick.
ability doubt successful
We're confident. We don't doubt our ability to go out and have a successful trip.
