auction bit deal difference good players price teams value whether worth year
It's kind of an auction where you have to see what price you get and do it a little bit on feel whether you think the deal is worth it. Every year is different because of the difference in players and how good they are. I know that a lot of teams go by the value chart. We don't.
doom gloom tough
There's no gloom and doom here. All of us have been through tough times before.
coming excited happened happy next
I'm under contract, and I'm happy to be coming back. Like everyone else, I'm disappointed at what happened this season, but I'm already excited about next season.
bush football head higher mario rated shoulders williams
I have him rated higher than Peppers. If Reggie Bush wasn't in this draft, Mario Williams would be head and shoulders the first pick.
athletics both excellent fine great winner
They're both great players. Young's an excellent athlete, a winner and a leader. I think he'll be a fine quarterback.

areas evaluate five four mean number process ways weight
The number really doesn't mean anything to us because we go through a process of four or five other ways to evaluate it. The number's insignificant to us in the end. It's the other areas that we put more weight on.
april gets
I think it will probably be April before this thing gets serious.
almost bush exactly head jump mario pass pick pounds runs shoulders size speed unique vertical williams
I think that if Reggie Bush wasn't in this draft, Mario Williams would be head and shoulders the first pick in this draft. What you have ... is a pass rusher who has unique size and speed for the position. He's almost 6-foot-7 and runs a 4.7 (40-yard dash). Vertical jump is exactly the same as Reggie Bush and he's 90 pounds heavier.
arrived confident continue flourish hard improved
Davis, through hard work, has improved his play from the first day he arrived with the Texans, and we feel confident he will continue to flourish in the years to come.
fit football mario strictly williams
Mario Williams is a better fit for us. It was strictly about a football decision.
fast running somebody
If you're a team, how do you take a running back who doesn't run a 40-yard dash? At some point, you've got to find out how fast somebody is.
confident deal decision defense needed offense pass rush sign worked
On Thursday, we made a decision to go with Mario, and we said that if we could get him, then let's sign him. We were confident we could have worked a deal with Bush, too, but we made the decision to go with defense over offense because our pass rush hasn't been what it needed to be.
decided everybody hurt jay job last move nice
Jay did a nice job for us, ... You can't keep everybody in this system. He got hurt at the end of last year. So we decided to move on, and that's it.
