While we are well known for our volunteers working tirelessly to build homes and provide a 'hand up' for low income families, that work is only possible as a result of the dedicated efforts of our Habitat affiliates in nearly 1800 communities in the United States.
along bringing hard kids proud work year
My kids have been there before, but this is my first year here. For as hard as I work for them, I'm just real proud of them for bringing me along with them.
awareness baseball beyond bringing coast effort families fresh gulf helped helps kicked league living major people recovery series shadow stadium thinking today tomorrow unless work
Major League Baseball helped kicked this off during the World Series when this was fresh on everybody's mind. Unless you are living in the Gulf Coast, you are probably thinking about other things other than families down there and what they have to go through. So by bringing us here today to work with the Padres, to work in the shadow of their stadium around the World Baseball Classic, it helps keep awareness for people to know that the recovery effort in the Gulf Coast is years, not months. We have to be there today, tomorrow and beyond and Major League Baseball has been a big part of that.
bench challenged far few free great hit huge kids michelle points reason shots today tournament won work
We really had to work her in and out. Michelle Dirks did a great job, got a few rebounds, hit her free throws, a few shots ... Our bench hadn't scored any points in the tournament so far and we challenged those kids today ... They're a huge reason we won this game.
ask band beginning behalf dave generous ground habitat hard harry hope houses humanity meant music orleans possible support sustaining symbol thank work
New Orleans and its music were meant to be. We couldn't ask for a better symbol of hope than the houses that are beginning to come out of the ground in the New Orleans Habitat Musicians' Village. The hard work of Branford Marsalis, Harry Connick Jr., and the New Orleans affiliate has made it possible for others, like Dave Matthews Band, to support the project. On behalf of Habitat for Humanity International, we thank Dave Matthews Band for this most generous and sustaining contribution.
beat happy kids mean satisfied thrilled win
Our kids are just thrilled to win right now. We won, and we're happy with that, but we're not satisfied ... Just because we beat Yankton in the past, doesn't mean anything tomorrow.
america grateful north recovery support
We are tremendously grateful to Nissan North America not only for this donation, but for all they have done in support of the recovery effort.
cover julie knock positions three tough wagner
Julie Wagner is always the key. She's a tough cover at the three positions and she can knock down that mid-range jumper. When she's on, she's on.
bigger chance far game
I would say this game is much, much bigger than the first one. It will give us a chance to see how far we've come and where we stand.
experiment harm possibly propose
I would never propose an experiment of any kind that I thought could possibly harm a whale.

five good lead
We couldn't get that lead over five points. We were doing a lot of good things, but just couldn't get over that five-point hump.
bit feels hurt pain sure
It feels incredible. I've got a little bit of a pain right here, (pointing to temple), but it sure doesn't hurt right now.
five four goals good keeping saves shots taking wonder
When you look at the stats and see the goalie let up four or five goals a game, you wonder how good he is. But the shots he's taking and the saves he's had, he's keeping us in the game.
