It looked like we picked up right where we left off from last year. It was kind of fun to see.

In the third inning they scored five on a couple of infield hits. They only hit one ball hard. Alex (Jenson) pitched fine, but we had a bit of misfortune there.

The main thing is that our 10 freshmen are still learning the system. But our sophomores already have a year under their belts and our juniors and seniors will be leading the way a little bit.

I've always been big on pitching depth. In grades 9-12, we've got 12 pitchers. We feel fairly confident playing three or four times a week.
consistent good job keeping plate putting scoring teams
We've been pretty consistent at the plate we do a pretty good job of putting up runs. Keeping teams from scoring has been our problem.
