It wasn't super exciting and it was a bit of a struggle for us to be patient also. They seemed content to run time off the clock rather than attacking the basket, so it was a good test for us to force ourselves to be patient.

On any other night, giving up 41 points is not a bad defensive effort, but when you only score 33 it's a moot point.

They struggled to defend us man-to-man and we executed really well that was the difference in the game.

It's a loss. All of my kids' Christmas presents ... they didn't get to enjoy them. We just got back from Wisconsin.

It was a fun game we gave a super effort and the only disappointment was the outcome. As coaches, we felt that we played hard enough to win but not as good as we have before to get the win.

The time off will be good for us. We will do some reflecting, watch some film and do some fun activities. These kids understand that hard work and effort is what makes teams successful. I'm certain they'll be up for the challenging second half of league.
