This is a long year and we've got a long way to go. We have to get a lot better in the snap. We played hard, we just didn't play smart. We got tackled and we made a lot of mistakes.

People need to know that the cattle and the pastures and the citrus groves they see do not sustain the farming family,
offense
Our offense is one dimensional, ... We have to be able to throw.

That kind of took the gas out of us. You could see them go flat right then.

Number one, I was trying to change our fortune. Number two, we've been preaching a lot about character and showing some class. I just thought it'd be a sign of showing kids that you didn't have to look like a bum all the time to do a job. They got a kick out of it. I think it loosened them up a little bit.
bringing gave good kept mean pinned protection special teams
Our special teams were super. I mean we gave up a (long) kickoff return, which was not good. Before (that), on our punt team, (Sean) Droese kept them pinned up all night. Our punt protection was good because they were bringing a lot of people.
confuse match physically
I don't think we can physically match them, so we're going to try and confuse them a little bit,
defender gives pass
He gives us a pass defender (at linebacker). He's made for that position.
job knew lay might nice players
DeAndre did a nice job tonight. I knew we might lay it down some, so we had to make up for it with big plays. And we have the players to make those.
kids line offensive physical scheme
Their offensive line is what makes them so good, ... They're really physical kids and they scheme so well.

(Foy) is a real pleasant kid. He's good to be around, never in any trouble and he has great character.

We never could sustain anything offensively because we couldn't block them. They were just too physical. Too strong.
decided good horse inside ride
We just decided to go back to our horse and ride him. For an inside run, he's as good as there is around here.
