I hope we are peaking at the right time. I have known for some time that we have a championship caliber club, and I hope now that these players are beginning to realize that, too.

I would have liked to have seen us make a few more easy opportunities. If we had made some more, I'd be happier. You're not going to get a lot of easy opportunities, and when we got those we didn't capitalize. That was the big thing.

I am really proud of this team tonight. We had an outstanding effort for the full 40 minutes. In recent games, we've been having that sustaining power for only 34 or 35 minutes. So this is big for this team. We can build on this.
bit energy gradually grind intensity knock team
We need to have a little bit of energy and more intensity than what we have. We were able to gradually grind it out. That's what we're going to have to do, because we don't have a heavyweight team that's going to knock you out.

We just hope we have a good showing. You hope the seniors can go out and have fun, lead the other guys and not be in awe. But it will be a great experience for them.
