I said my next victory would be the most important of my career and it is. A heart-rate monitor at the last putt would have recorded it much faster than usual.

I was pretty confident I had done nothing wrong but called the rules official and he told me it was OK,
dramatic five seven start tough
It was tough to start five behind, ... I said to myself if I could get two back in the first five, I could do this. I got two back after six, and seven was a dramatic change.
glad hurt prove surprised
I'm very hurt and very surprised (by Evans' comments) but I'm very glad I was able to go out and prove to myself and everyone else that I can still do this, and do what I do best.

You come here with so many pressures that to score nine-under after two rounds is some result, ... I made it look easy out there but it wasn't, I can assure you. In fact, it was bloody hard.

I'm relaxed, my back is better than it's ever been and I have Alastair (MacLean) back on the bag. I am happy, actually, and it does help. I'm happier than I've ever been, on and off the course.
