The thing about volleyball is if you don't have others on the court, you can't win. We don't have the same offensive power we have had, but we have equal -- if not better -- defense and ball control. You can't throw a game like volleyball on the shoulders of one person.

We didn't have two of our starters. I told my players at the beginning of the match this is an opportunity for some of them who don't play as much to make an impact, make a difference. I don't think we did that today.

With this loss, I still see us being a strong contender for the state title. I wasn't happy with the way we played tonight. ... I wasn't upset we didn't win tonight, it was how we lost.
