bit coming good hopefully injury knew panic serious spirits spoke work
He was in good spirits when I spoke to him this morning. You could see that there was a little bit of panic when he was coming off the ice. He knew that it was a serious injury and hopefully things will work out.
backbone key saves
He's just been the backbone of this team. He's making real big saves at key times in the game.
ahead blue emotion faces goes great honor means people played players playing realize sweater tear truly white
I had a tear in my eye. You really feel for the family. You could see the emotion in their faces and it really goes to show that it means a lot to play for this team. I don't think people really realize that to put on the red, white and blue sweater and the great players that have played ahead of myself, it's truly an honor to be playing for this team.
accidental happened happens inch personally stuff year
I think it was an accidental play. That happens a lot in this league. It's happened to me personally this year where I got clipped pretty much in the same spot, and if it would have been an inch closer, I would have had the same injury. It makes you think, but unfortunately that is part of the game. You just don't want to see that stuff happen.
penalty
At this rate, ... I'll never get out of the penalty box.
confidence game knowing playing rest
Huey has just been outstanding and the confidence he's playing with is oozing into the rest of the team. We go into every game knowing that he'll come up with the big saves.
bringing capable good guys instead playing sign younger
Instead of going that (free agent) way, we're bringing in younger guys who are capable of playing now. That's a good sign for us in the long run.
dirty dogs excellent four great hockey net nose puck relying score success tried
We've been getting some excellent hockey by all four lines, and I think that's why we're having success right now because we're not just relying on our big dogs to score the goals. I just tried to get the puck on net and Murray, getting his nose dirty once again, made a great deflection.
attack mistake
We can't make the mistake of being passive. On the contrary, we have to be in attack mode. They are very talented, and very fast.
best games played solid team together
We're a solid team when we play together as a team. These were probably two of the best games we've played as a team this year.
