It was a very good game for our program. To play a team like that who has only one loss on the year really tough shows we can play with the top teams. They're really tough, and they really get on you. It was a plus for us, but obviously we would like to have gotten the win.

Our inexperience showed at certain times. They had good pressure and got some easy baskets at crucial times to pull away.

Ashland shot the lights out. We tried a triangle-and-two on their outside shooters. Then they put in some other girls that we don't know who they were, and they start bombing 3s. It was unbelievable.

We weren't as consistent as we should be. It was a lot better than (Wednesday) night. We got some easy baskets inside to the point that they started double-teaming Leah. We really didn't go back to that. That's a little of our inexperience. Give Ashland credit. They played some tough defense and made it tough on our guards.

When we go to the basket and get in a situation where they have to foul us, we shoot pressure free throws very well.

What I told the girls at halftime was that we could get a moral victory because it was impossible to win. We showed how we could play in the second half. It gives us something positive to build on.
