Since she and coach (Bert) McLaughlin got there, they have been a basketball program. Before, you never had to scout them. In the last four years, they have turned into a force you had to worry about. She showed the way for the rest of them.

After losing to Southern Wells last week, we could've folded. We could've just forgot about it and concentrated on sectional. But we still wanted to get part of the title. For a young group, they've been pretty focused all year.

They executed better than we did. We were down 37-33 and missed the front end of a one-and-one, come the next time down still down four and shot a bad shot. Good teams are going to execute down the stretch and we didn't. We had some good shots and we missed free throws.
