neat played strong third tidy
He didn't see a lot of shots, but he played neat and tidy and was strong in the third period.
earned north people played respect
They earned the respect of North American players. They played gritty. They were winners. They made people around them better.
ability anyone elevated people played
Anyone he's played with has elevated their game. He has the ability to make people around him better.
carry last looking mental minutes night periods played pull toughness
The first two periods I was disappointed because we played well for 60 minutes last night and I was looking for that to carry over. We didn't do those things. It comes down to mental toughness to pull through. We have to find a way.
breaks chicago dressing good guys played ship
We played well, especially during the first 40 minutes. Chicago got some breaks on goals. . . . We've got some good guys in our dressing room. We'll right the ship and right it quickly.
against backs decision forced next played wall
The way we played (at Omaha) forced us to make a decision on what we wanted to be - contenders or pretenders. We went into Peoria the next day with our backs against the wall . . . we played grittier.
good hockey played short tonight win
We played short tonight and got a good effort, but we need to win those hockey games.
ahead basically control intensity matched omaha realized run stays table taken
I think we've realized the intensity that has to be matched or taken into these games. If we run the table and Omaha still stays ahead of us, kudos to them, but basically we control a lot of our own destiny.
battle biggest game lead outcome plays time
I think any time you go into a game the most important person is your goaltender. He's going to lead you into battle - into the game. How he plays has the biggest outcome on the game.
given goals last liked saw three
I saw a lot more that liked than I didn't like tonight. But we've given up three shorthanded goals in our last three games. And that's something that we've got to get better at.
bounce diminish far guys outcome
Our guys battled and I am not going to let this outcome diminish how far we've come in 2005. We'll bounce back in 2006.
couple eat experience good guys learn places
Our guys will learn from this experience and we'll get on it tomorrow. I know a couple good places to eat in Milwaukee, so we can just go back there on Friday.
challenge group point team
Our team as a group was not up to the challenge and that is unacceptable at this point of the season.
good great guys position test
I think it's a good test for our team. We're in a race, which is great for our guys because there are expectations. I don't think it's pressure. It's just expectations that if you do enough good things you put yourself in position to make the playoffs.
