Ten long years of planning and hard work by many people is finally going to come to fruition. I am happy for the volunteers who have worked so hard, including the bingo volunteers who have been at it for 10 years.

He (John) wanted to make the arena better for its users while finding a home for our sports hall of fame. I will be thinking of him constantly during construction, as will many people. His example and memory will make it bitter sweet indeed, but very pride-filled.
