From a team standpoint, I was very happy with our balance. We were the only team to score (top eight) in 13 of the 14 events, which shows balance. We still have some weak spots, but we are working on them.

Our guys overcame adversity with meet management and finished the last event in total darkness. It was a very nice way to start off our conference season.

Many guys hit their personal records tonight. It was very windy, so the good times were a bit of a surprise ? Brodhead is a great track and field school with a wonderful tradition. They are a well-coached team.
bus good guys hungry last score stepped surprised team
We were surprised by our score with McFarland. They have a good team with a lot of guys back from last year. Our guys stepped off the bus very hungry and went after them hard.
came guys mile roll
We really got on a roll and the guys competed hard. It came right down to the mile relay. It was pretty exciting.
bumped division good heads large nice points school scoring
We were in the large school division and bumped heads with some pretty good programs. It was nice to come out scoring as many points as we did.
