I can't say I was leaping with joy with much of the news. I have been assured that the DVD production company believes they will be able to release the WHITESNAKE DVD on October 25, but, to be honest, I will believe it when I see it. On my return from South America, I will devote ALL my energy to rescuing it if the situation has not changed. So, as of now, you guys know as much as me. Do I feel like a victim? You bet. How does that feel? NOT GOOD! Am I pissed? YEP!! It does not suit me at all. So I am moving on. And as I promised you before, I will do everything I can to ensure it is released this year.

Also I haven't really heard that much criticism about my voice. Sitting here at the end of 30 years, I must be doing something right.
In the last couple of years I've been facing down a lot of the demons of the past and trying to find out, who I am, It's something I think I'll be doing for the rest of my life.
I probably listen to Burn more than any of them, because it was so new me, so novel. To see my name on an actual record was such an incredible feeling.
The audience will make you feel like a demigod. But when you leave the stage, get back to being human.
Amateurs in professional situations make me very impatient.
The critics love to get out their knives and dine on Coverdale. But the worse the criticism gets, the more successful I become.
I saw what Purple meant to people and I still hear it now when I'm in Europe. I'm always shocked that I'm still asked about Purple because it was such a long time ago.
If I was a politician right now I would change just about everything.
I would hope it's better, but I'm actually acknowledging now that I want to explore all these levels from a whisper to a scream with this gift I've been given.
The other thing that was very noticeable on that tour, not so much in the video, was the new young element that were coming to our shows... I started to see some very young people in the audience... maybe 14, 15, 16 years old.
