David Heyman quotes about
opportunity firsts film
If you make a good first film and audiences respond, than hopefully you'll have the opportunity to do a sequel.
beautiful thinking ideas
I got a few things, because I think the props are so beautiful as much as anything else. The detail of the work is something that one has no idea of.
night illumination important
It might sound odd, but I want to thank Michael Bay because hes been saying how important it is to show 3D with the right luminescence. And thats very important for this film, a lot of which was shot at night or with very low illumination.
book right-time has-beens
I love books. I read voraciously, and I happened to have been fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time.
trying film gravy
All we try and do is make the best films we can. If you do that then hopefully the audiences will come, and they have. Everything else is gravy.
kids naughty thinking
I think it's great to see how they've grown up, not just as actors but as people. They're still very much the same kids that I met many years ago. They've grown up and they are funny and wicked and naughty and bright, and I think as actors their work is just getting better and better. They've blossomed.
afternoon almost hour impossible rush unless
It's almost impossible to get east-west in the afternoon rush hour unless you have an hour or two to spare,
maintain normalcy
It is its own universe. But we try to maintain a real normalcy about it.
turn
He won't turn into a stuntman, but he's a responsible boy.
decided information raised threat
They decided this was as significant a threat as they had seen, in all the information that they've seen, and that's why they went and raised the alert.
deal interested ordinary people
I'm interested in people on the fringe, ordinary people who have to deal with extraordinary things.
actual chemical determined explosive families kids lead level parents perhaps schools steps
It's well done. It's creative. I think it's at the right level to get kids involved. But will it lead to plans, to families being prepared, or the actual steps you need to take if there's a nuclear, biological, chemical or explosive event? Or perhaps even a hurricane? That's undetermined, and it will be determined by the level that parents and schools and communities use the program.
bring chris director exciting mike written
You don't bring in a director like Mike Newell and tell him, 'Well, you've got to make a film just like Chris Columbus,' ... It'd be foolish. So for me, I look this film, I see Mike Newell. I mean, I see Jo Rowling, but I see Mike Newell written all over it and that's really exciting for me.
chatter concerned conclude information mean
We had a lot of chatter and there were no attacks, ... Now that there's no chatter -- does that mean there will be no attack, or is there something else we should be concerned about? I don't think we have enough information to conclude what it means.
