home grieving media
In contrast, the 'Old Europe' channels were showing film from reporters who had embedded themselves at the wrong end of the Baghdad blitz and the Basra bombardment. These films depicted the shattered homes, the killed and grieving civilians and the infrastructure chaos our armed forces are creating daily. Since this footage (none of it bearing the al-Jazeera logo) clearly exists, why does the Western media studiously ignore it or, when confronted by it, claim it to be Iraqi propaganda.
government support competition
It certainly makes sense to expand the pulp industry in Indonesia, .. It's clear that it will be a very competitive exporter of pulp to the rest of the world, including China and India. So the interest by the Indonesian government is clearly to establish a really competitive plantation fiber base to support a globally attractive export industry.
bars bamboo tourism
Well, it was just, the bars was all just like the bamboo roofs and everything. You know. As I say, to me, it's completely spoiled all, all these places now. Make them all just tourist traps.
baby home views
In my view, the greatest threat to America's future isn't hiding in a cave in Pakistan or Afghanistan; it's right here at home. Baby boomers like myself are on course to become the first generation of Americans who leave things in worse shape than they found them.
mother father grateful
The Americans say that we are ungrateful-but I ask them for heaven's sake, what should we be grateful to them for-for murdering our fathers and mothers?-Or do they wish us to return thanks to them for chaining and handcuffing us, branding us, cramming fire down our throats, or for keeping us in slavery, and beating us nearly or quite to death to make us work in ignorance and miseries, to support them and their families. They certainly think we are a gang of fools.
ignorant half earth
I know that the blacks, take them half enlightened and ignorant, are more humane and merciful than the most enlightened and refined European that can be found in all the earth.
order bridges empowering
Leadership is building a bridge that connects the vision with the purpose, in order to empower those who are around us.
mother children believe
Now, I ask you, had you not rather be killed than to be a slave to a tyrant, who takes the life of your mother, wife, and dear little children? Look upon your mother, wife and children, and answer God Almighty; and believe this, that it is no more harm for you to kill a man who is trying to kill you, than it is for you to take a drink of water when thirsty.
congress considers maybe problem proposes time
Part of the problem is that when Congress considers legislation, and the administration proposes it, they only consider a one-year, five-year, or maybe 10-year time horizon.
farmers oldest people rights water work
The (coastal) farmers were the first people to use the water, so they have the oldest rights. That's the way water rights work in Texas. First come, first served.
crying hurt knew life move time
It hurt, but at the same time I knew there was more to life than crying and pouting about an injury. I've got to move on.
half inch rain
A half an inch of rain is nice, but we could use a whole lot more.
coming faces forward good guys honesty late looking matter opponent playing smiles
I'm just looking forward to playing a game, ... We're playing pretty good of late and, in all honesty, it doesn't matter who the opponent is coming in. Our guys ... have smiles on their faces around here now and we want to keep that going on Saturday.
awareness famine feast flood happened middle program pushing
We're pushing a drought-awareness program right now. But you never know. The 1952 flood happened right in the middle of a drought. It's feast or famine around here.
