I know what the Eskimos pride is, I know what the Eskimos expect from their players because I was part of it. But in a respectful way I remember, not in spite of.

He had infections in both of his big toes and he told our training staff to do what they had to do to get him fixed up as soon as possible because we were counting on him to make plays. That kind of attitude is infectious. They removed both toe nails ... he healed quicker than we thought he would and he got himself back out there.
