Elwyn Brooks "E. B." White was an American writer. He was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine and a co-author of the English language style guide The Elements of Style, which is commonly known as "Strunk & White". He also wrote books for children, including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and The Trumpet of the Swan. Any talk of cuts to federal employee or federal retiree benefits is a complete non-starter.
It feels a lot different this time, ... Traditionally, you get interest rate cuts to stimulate domestic demand that is just foundering. ? But the U.S. economy doesn't need a kick in the pants right now to get it going.
The cutting of jobs in some areas has bitten too hard ... and customers are getting a lesser service and that will have ramifications for the business.
