I'd bet more than 50 percent of our players have a relative who played football here.
Being in Ingham County Jail is the safest she has been in some period of time.
It's not strictly true to say there was only minor damage to refineries. When you sit down you can see about four million barrels per day of refining capacity is down as a result of Rita and Katrina.
Consumers should check they are getting the best package from their provider for their lifestyle. For example, for the 27% of consumers that carry a balance the most important considerations are the interest rate and charges, because any perks will be wiped out by these.
Once in everyone's life there is apt to be a period when he is fully awake, instead of half-asleep.
Monday's CPI number could go a long way toward getting us a better sense of direction, ... And perhaps what we'll see on Monday is a return back to the normal levels of consumer price index inflation.
It was profitable before, but with the additional growth, the bottom-line percentage has increased.
I saw a pretty dominating performance by Sarah. She's a good pitcher and does a really good job at mixing up her pitches.
In a very short period of time, Charlie has clearly and impressively demonstrated the ability to take the Notre Dame program where we all want it to go,
The Noble Gibbons acquisition fits perfectly with our strategy of establishing a leading position in the world's top business capitals. Moscow continues to attract significant investment capital as its economy and real estate market matures.
If you think about what's really driven the drive in equity markets over the last couple of years, it's been those low interest rates. What's brought all the money in has been that we took short-term interest rates back from over 6 percent (several years ago) to 3 percent.
I think what we're finding across the church is that people are tired of just writing the check for the mission. They really want to do it. We made a commitment to the city to put up 50 roofs over the next couple of months. We hope to perhaps complete 25 this week with the crews that we have.
Intellectually, we know for certain that we are on this planet for a very brief period, yet we tend to live as if we were going to live forever, as if there were no end to our life or to the lives of our friends and family. This not-so-subtle denial of death persists throughout our lives, unless we are lucky enough to get a dramatic, usually painful and invariably life-changing wake-up call. The moments of our lives are ephemeral gifts, and we can not afford to miss even one of them. Happily, you don't have to wait for a painful wake-up call. You can notice the miracle of your life right now. Awareness is a choice.
In our ludicrous efforts to 'change' and be perfect, we try to fashion a perfect world for ourselves. We start to imagine that we are actually in control of our world, which is further from reality than an all-parrot moon landing. The universe, our universe, is out of our control. We live on a speck drifting around in an infinite vacuum with countless trillions of other specks. Our world is in a perpetual state of perfect chaos and entropy, with everything falling apart and dying and being born haphazardly. Meanwhile, we try to make life as neat and clean and orderly as a computer research facility, when in fact it is more like a junkyard. It always has been, and it always will be, no matter how much fussing and sweating and striving we do to make it different.
