It's discouraging. I wish I had a deal put together and I could bring out the 28 car. It was always nice to see whether it was Davey or me or Kenny Irwin or Ricky Rudd.

Man, I remember those nasty turns, and how hard it was to judge them. That's what made it so difficult, and the reason the drivers are always so competitive. I always said if you could win at Stockton, you could win anywhere.

If I was out there, yeah, it would be tempting to at least take a practice lap for old time's sake. It's a shame it's going away, it's well known nationally as one of the toughest short tracks around, and the reputation is deserved.

We can do a lot more in our everyday lives to prevent brain injuries. I'd like to see everyone here, when they buy that next car, make sure it has side airbags. And make sure kids under 15 always wear a helmet for bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading. We could save a life a day just by doing that.
