happen
This could only happen in one place; it could only happen here in Portland.
controlled early efficient execution front goals kept lots night numbers perfect pleased portland possession second shots state stayed terms three
This was a perfect night in terms of execution. We scored goals early and stayed patient, even when Portland State kept lots of numbers in front of us. Getting three goals on 10 first-half shots is very efficient and I was pleased with the way we controlled possession in the second half.
attack beyond defend label
We're purple. I wouldn't label this team, because they do it all - they play with finesse, they defend together, they attack together. They do everything together, so I wouldn't label us beyond purple.
knew national season undefeated win
We knew that one of us was going to have an undefeated season and not win the national championship, which is a shame.
