balance bit good struggling
I was struggling a little bit today. I couldn't get a good balance on the car.
advantage bit car expected fix grip lap last less meant second seen slower today tomorrow tricky
There was much less grip out there today than we had at the test, which can be seen from the lap times ? we are more than a second slower than last week. That meant the car was a bit tricky to drive, but we can fix that tomorrow morning. Overall, I think McLaren probably have the advantage over us ? but we are where we expected to be.
bit good happy potential recover speed
I am a bit disappointed for that especially considering that I was pretty happy with my qualifying lap. But I have a good speed and I have a good potential to recover some positions.
best bit good lead took
I am a little bit disappointed but I did my best and it was a good day for us because we took over the lead on the constructors championship,
aiming defending fight forward good great hard looking point races rivalry score simple team title win
It is simple for me: I am aiming for the world championship. This is a team that is defending the world title and working hard to win it again, so I am looking forward to a great season. There will be a good rivalry with Fernando. And from my point of view, I want to score points, win races and be in the fight for the championship.
brazil feeling
I think we can go to Brazil feeling very optimistic,
accurate although couple early feeling feels forward good happy problems promising quick shape steps testing unusual week weeks winter
I think this has been a very good week for us. I had a couple of problems yesterday, but nothing unusual for winter testing. Overall, I am very happy after these first weeks of testing with the car. At the wheel, it feels quick and stable, and we made some promising steps forward with Michelin this week on the tyre development. I think we are in good shape at the moment, although it is still too early to have an accurate feeling for the competition.
car driving fight great motivation motivational optimistic pleased quick target team
My motivation is very high. I am very pleased to be with a great team like Renault, the world champions. Also, I know I am driving a very quick car this year. My target is to fight for the championship, and I am optimistic I can do that.
great last memory optimistic sunday won year
I won last year and I have a great memory. I am optimistic for Sunday (TV, 10:30 p.m. ET Saturday).
optimistic problem
We are optimistic that this problem will not re-occur.
confident good start strong tomorrow usual
If we start as (well as) usual we can do well already in the first corner. I'm confident of that - if we get a good start then I think we can be very strong tomorrow afternoon.
afternoon best birthday crew felt few good present runs surprised today
Today is my birthday and the crew surprised me with a cake. But this was not the best present I got from the team. That was the new car, which felt good on the track. I did a few runs in the afternoon and everything went well.
feeling great hoping last won year
I have a great feeling here, I won last year and I am hoping to do the same again.
easy fantastic track
At the beginning, the track wasn't fantastic and it was easy to make mistakes,
