almost caught fire games half jimmy kids realize starting
It's a 32-minute game. The kids are starting to realize its been nip and tuck for us in the first half of a lot of our games lately. Then Jimmy caught fire and scored almost half of our points.

I thought our guys left it out on the floor. I'm very proud of the way they played. A bucket here or a bucket there and we're still playing.

Jimmy is more of a scoring point guard. For us to be successful this season, he had to score a lot. He also added 4.5 assists per game. He is a very good athlete and could have played any sport, but we were fortunate enough to have him choose basketball. I believe he will be successful at Robert Morris.

I coached Scott's brother in college. He's done a great job up there in his first year.

I think these seven seniors are on a mission. I know our kids will be ready to go.

I know Jon had 38 points and they had 73 points, but I thought we played great defense. It was a great team effort.

That was good stuff. It was a great crowd and that's what high school basketball is all about.
basketball good level played says senior state top
It says a lot about the level of basketball being played in the area. Mansfield Senior is in the top 10 in the state in wins. There is some very good basketball played in this part of the state.

That will give us another tough presence. We're a little deeper with him.
historic history
It's a historic rivalry. When you look at the history of the league, Willard has 24 (boys basketball) championships and Bellevue has 17 and everyone else is in single-digits.
adversity faced good plugging team
This team has some pretty good chemistry. They've faced some adversity and they keep plugging along.
coaches great players program programs proud state wins
There have been a lot of great coaches and players come through the program and I'm proud to have been a part of the 1,000th win. To be one of the 30 or 40 programs in the state to have 1,000 wins is a great honor.
