blame blaming half jump lost mistakes possession second
I take the blame for this one. Being a senior, I should be able to do more. . . . I'm not blaming it on that one possession (where he lost it). We were up in the first half and in the second half we didn't jump on them. I don't blame one play. Mistakes happen.
against biggest defense minutes second shot surprise team
That doesn't surprise me. Against a team like that, if they keep getting second chances, they will score. We don't want to play defense for two minutes (per possession). Our biggest thing was one shot for them.
defense energy good knocking played second shots
We still played good defense in the first half, but our shots just weren't falling, ... Our defense was clicking. In the second half, we just started knocking them down. We were attacking, and our energy was up.
behind practice second time
This is the second season. This is where we start. We'll put the preseason behind us. This is the time where we need to be focused. This is about getting better in practice every day.
I was down; things just weren't right. It was frustrating, (but) it happens.
maybe
You always think that maybe there's something you could have done or should have done.
game head
Our game speaks, but we like to speak, too. We try to go at your head and try to make a statement.
competitor defensive extra feeling good guy love wish
It'd be great. My feeling is I would love to have him. That's just me. He's a competitor that we could use. It's always good to have an extra perimeter guy you can go to, especially on the defensive end. Just as long as he handles his business, that's good. I wish him the best.
coaches confidence emotions role
Man, this was big. It was emotion. It wasn't boasting. That's my role on my team. My team, my coaches put that confidence in me.
feed slept stay took
I was just being me. They feed off me. (Coaches said) 'If you don't stay aggressive, who else is going to be aggressive?' So I took that in and slept on it. That was big.
behind bounce either learn
Just like any other game, we need to put this behind us and look at some film. We wanted the 'W,' but we have to learn from it either way. We'll bounce back.
horses
We've got to get back on this horse.
came competing fall hands
We came in competing and went out competing. That was a big thing. We didn't fall back. We didn't put our hands down when they made a run. It was so close.
beside care final flying number
We like flying under the radar. If we make it to the Final Four, we won't care what (ranking) number is beside our name.
