bad boots effort great last playing tonight
It's not like we've been playing bad for the last month, but we didn't put in an effort like we did tonight for 60 minutes, and it's great to see. We just put the working boots on.
eddie great guys mature played playoff rebound shadow tough
He's always been a great goalie. It's just that he played in the shadow of Eddie Belfour when he was in Dallas. I know guys that have had tough times in the playoffs. They like to rebound and show the world they are playoff players. He is a more mature goalie now.
league pressure
They're (among the best) in the league for a reason. They just put pressure on.
stressful
This is what the NHL wants. It's stressful for everyone around here, but that's OK.
bottom crucial matter
It doesn't matter who we play. We need points, that's the bottom line. It's crucial right now.
boot camp games good played time
At least we've made it fun. We've played some games out there, so it's nothing like boot camp or anything like that. It's more like it's been good to get in shape, but at the same time you can make it fun, and that's what they've been doing. It's getting old right now. We want to get back at it and play.
character guys top
Our top guys are character guys, and they never quit. It's contagious.
building desperate win
They were a little more desperate than us tonight. But it's the playoffs. You just can't give them any life, so we have to go into their building and win there.
anybody beat believe chance close good league market seed teams upset
You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.
feeling great home montreal native playing score
We got a little turnover. Richardson is playing really well for us. It was a great feeling to score here. I'm a Montreal native and everyone at home was watching.
chances couple game team win
When you keep a team like that in the game, that's what is dangerous. They just need a couple chances and they'll win the game like they did (Thursday night).
drain guys momentum power rolling
When you're on the power play you get the momentum rolling for you, even when you don't score. You drain the guys who are killing penalties.
