control hard quite seen threw
I thought he threw really well. He didn't have quite as much control on his off-speed stuff, but he battled. He threw as hard as I have seen but not as sharp.
attracted extremely hard interest obviously oklahoma team worked
He obviously has some talent, or he wouldn't have attracted the interest of a team like Oklahoma State. He can run, throw, and he's strong. He can hit, and he has worked extremely hard to become a better player.
bars beam consistency emphasize hard harder plans pushed shown team throughout worked
We've really worked hard and pushed ourselves. We've done a lot of team plans on bars and beam to emphasize consistency throughout the whole lineup, and I think that's shown us that we can work harder that we have been.
both cliff coach games hard joy looks sticking team treat works
Cliff is just a treat to coach now. He's a team player. He works hard both in games and in practices, and he is just a joy to be around. He is always the one sticking up for teammates, and he really looks out for the other guys.
hard tries
He already applied. He's doing all he can to come back. He tries as hard as he can in all of his classes.
ending felt good hard matter shot
For me, it felt like my shot was good ---- and then it just wouldn't go in the hoop. It didn't matter how hard we played. When you can't score, the ending is always the same.
football growing life time
Just being around him when we were growing up, Vestal football was such a big part of our life from the time I can remember,
coaches everybody hoover individual jim means players record
You always think of the players and coaches and everybody that's been involved. It's going to go down as a Jim Hoover record, but it's really a Walton football-program record ? and I think that means more than an individual record.
dose good humility learn matter whether
We got big-headed. And we got a good dose of humility today. Now it's just a matter of whether or not we're going to learn from it.
backs blessed coming dive good guys knock lose seem teams wide
We have some young guys coming up for us, ... That's one thing we never seem to lose at Walton. Some teams have good quarterbacks or wide receivers. We've been blessed with good dive backs and good-sized fullbacks. I don't know where they keep coming from, but I'm not going to knock it.
happens people upset
We have some people who get pretty upset when something happens to birds.
learned worry
It doesn't matter. What the referees call, they call. I've learned not to worry about that.
football forward great knows looking
I think he's going to do a great job. I know he really knows a lot of football and has been looking forward to this opportunity.
guys might mistakes scared throw
I think he will. He usually bounces back pretty good. The thing I like about him is when he does make that mistake, he's not scared to go out and make that throw again. He can usually make that throw. Other guys might be timid, but he is not.
