Luckily, I have the good fortune of being on the same team as Ray Lewis. I don't have to face him on Sunday.
It doesn't get into your passion for the game, it doesn't get into your preparation for the game, ... But it does sink in the back of your mind when you're out there busting your tail for this organization, that next year, who knows where you might be?
Branch said. ''They never even thought about me.
I got done what I needed to get done. I was able to get in there with my fullback and get everything down, really take some hits. I haven't done that since last season.
I've proven what I can do, I know what I can do, people know what I can do, everybody around knows what I can do,
Just watching them on film from last week, they looked like a totally different defense.
Honestly right now, I'm on mute right now. I'm going to keep saying the same thing.
That's what we really mean by being feared on the football field. And not actually the player that fears him, it's the offensive coordinator that fears him or the running backs coach.
I've got a feeling now that we got this done, it's going to be a little different. I think we'll get back to the way it used to be.
I'm not a bad person. It's just me moving forward. I'm not looking back on the past and the things I just went through. My next step is really just prove people wrong, the people that doubt me and think I'm not in the shape I'm supposed to be.
If he's getting more carries or if he's getting more time, it doesn't bother me because I've proven what I can do. The only thing that does is just keep me fresher and keep me going.
I know there's going to be a lot of people out there anxious to see me fail or whatever, so they can say he's not going to be the same or he's going to be a little slower, maybe he's lost a step. I'm not going to feed into that.
I'll touch the field when Jamal Lewis is ready. I guarantee you I'll be out there Sept. 11.
He's one of those multipurpose backs. He can play fullback and he can play tailback. He's a good asset to this team and I will love to play with him.
